Hello, I’m Lee. I’ve been working as a stonemason for almost 25 years, but my journey started much earlier than that. I went straight into stone masonry training after leaving school, and from the very first day I knew I’d found the craft for me. There’s something special about working with stone—shaping it, restoring it, and using it to bring strength and character back to a home or garden.
Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience across all areas of stonework, from delicate restoration to practical repairs and structural work. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from skilled masons, work on properties of all ages, and develop my own approach that combines traditional techniques with a modern, friendly service.
What really matters to me isn’t just the technical side of the job—it’s the people I work for. Most of my customers have been with me for years, and many come back whenever they need something doing. I think that’s because I keep things straightforward: I’m honest about what needs doing, I take pride in doing the job well, and I always tidy up after myself. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process.
Whether I’m restoring a garden wall, replacing damaged stone, or carving a bespoke piece, I bring the same level of care and attention to every project. Your home and garden should look good, but they should also be safe—especially if you’ve got grandchildren or pets running around. I always work with that in mind.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and what I do. If you’d like to talk about a project or just need some advice, I’m always happy to help.
